Pimm's Cup Recipe
Whether it's one of their famous garden parties or the Wimbledon tennis matches, a Pimm's cup is Britain's classic, classy refreshing drink of choice. Pimm's No. 1 is a 50 proof gin- or vodka-based liquor. The recipe varies depending on whom you ask, but the basic recipe is:
-Ice
-1 part Pimm's No. 1
-2 parts lemonade soda
-Kirby cucumber (for garnish)
-Slice of lemon ( for garnish)
Fill a Keep Calm and Carry On glass with ice, liquor, and soda. Stir well. Garnish with cucumber and lemon slice. (Lemonade soda is difficult to find in the US. You can substitute lemonade and club soda, 7UP or Sprite.) Another option is to use gingerale with extra lemons. Mint, apple,
and strawberries can also be added depending on the season.
