Return Policy:
Every purchase from Decorative Things is unconditionally guaranteed. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will take it back for a refund or an exchange. Call or email for the return address. If the value of the item is over $50, please be sure to return it via a trackable method.
Sorry we do not pay return freight or credit initial freight charges. If a coupon code is used, then the discount will not be refunded. Example, if you get free shipping on an order and return it, you will be refunded for the cost of the item but the shipping costs will be billed.
Shipping & Handling, Timing, Methods, Rates
We ship from New York City generally within 1 or 2 business days. Please let us know if you need something by a certain date.
We primarily use United States Post Office and UPS for shipping.
Shipping charges will come up once you add items to the shopping cart. Items are removable at any time.
Note: We are working on getting our shipping to make sense. Please call us if it doesn't and we will adjust. Obvously a piece of jewelry weighs less than a bike basket even if they cost the same thing so sometimes we need to adjust things. We can review shipping charges after an order is placed if you contact us by email or phone.

Decorative Things reserves the right to call any customer and let them know if freight needs to be adjusted. If that is the case, customer will be asked for approval.
Charge for 1 day shipping is an additional $35 per order.
Charge for 2-3 days shipping is an additional $15 per order. Charges for International Shipping are applied in your shopping cart at real time UPS cost. If you prefer USPS, please contact us for rates.
Please note that for International Shipping if there are duties and taxes to be paid for the product by the receiver, on arrival, this is a cost to the customer.
There is no sales tax except for shipments made to NYC addresses.
Approximate UPS Ground transit times, in business days, from NY:
(After 1 to 2 business days for processing and packing at our warehouse)
For example: In North Carolina, order by 5 PM Monday, we ship Tuesday or Wednesday, you will probably receive Thursday or Friday.
* Packages under 2 lbs often go by Priority Mail, which the US Postal Service normally delivers in 2 days. (sometimes longer) |
