Serving Tray Suzani
  ![Suzani Trays]()
As Seen in Elle Decor January, 2010
Our Suzani serving tray was inspired by the elegant Doris Duke, (1912 – 1993) the American heiress, horticulturalist, art collector, and philanthropist,(see photo below.) Doris Duke's Hawaiian home Shangri La was filled with her collection of Suzanis or "needlework," made in towns from Ancient Greece to the Ottoman Empire. Typically made by a mother for a daughter's dowry, Suzani motifs were often colorful flower prints such as the one on our decorative trays.
Made in the USA by Decorative Things.
Laminated Suzani fabric, hard plastic backing.
Completely washable, lightweight and durable.
Dimensions: 16" x 22", cut our handles.
Available in Red or Blue Suzani. Photos below.
