THE BUNNY SURPRISE
Who knew that bunnies would be so popular? Beatrix Potter's publisher, Frederick Warne, gave the bunny books to the youngest son in the family as a project to cut his teeth. The firm was totally surpised by the popularity of Peter Rabbit! E.B. White did not know his children's stories would be so popular either. He wrote them late in life. Miss Potter wrote her books early in life and then went on to be a farmer and conservationist. |
